The primary focus for our Pandemic Response Coordinator is to provide leadership and support in the planning, development, implementation, coordination, facilitation, and direction of the organization’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This position reports to the President/CEO.

This position is based at Wasserman Residence, supporting the whole of the organization.

This is a FULL TIME position with regular daylight business hour.


  • Serves as an expert on COVID-19 related topics and maintains expert understanding of the latest COVID-19 federal, state and local regulations and guidelines.
  • Works in accordance with all established policies, protocols, and applicable statutes and regulations related to COVID-19.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of COVID-19 response strategies, programs and services while ensuring compliance and alignment with federal, state and local regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in the development of interventions and new proposals, linked to assessed needs and gaps.
  • Participate and proactively engage in COVID-19 preparedness coordination meetings and working groups.
  • In coordination with other stakeholders, develop and deliver training on COVID-19 preparedness.
  • Continuously monitor and supervise COVID-19 preparedness and response activities, evaluating progress through outputs and impact.
  • Support the logistics activities, in relation to the purchasing of COVID-19 related supplies, etc.
  • Responsible for COVID-19 PCR testing contract negotiation and ongoing vendor relationship with lab services provider.
  • Responsible for coordination, communication and conduct of COVID-19 testing clinics for associates and vaccine clinics for associates and residents.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of COVID-19 preparedness activities according to applicable timeframes and formats.


  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent with four years of direct work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in emergency preparedness and emergency plan development and implementation.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills in highly complex emergency operation.
  • Ability to understand and interpret regulations, policies and procedures, designing and adjusting course of action as needed.
  • Good communications skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly.
  • Ability to prioritize clearly, oversee multiple tasks, and to take the initiative in project decisions.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to set clear objectives for associates and to delegate.
  • Flexibility, ability to work under pressure in a highly complex emergency context.
  • Ability to ensure quick quality delivery in stressful environment.
