HR Covid Case Coordinator

Job Description:

The COVID Case Coordinator is a member of the Security and Emergency Management team reporting to the Emergency Manager. The primary role of the COVID Case Coordinator is to manage the COVID-19 cases through execution of established processes. The Case Coordinator will be the primary contact for company-wide COVID-19 reports and questions. The individual must be willing to be on call 24/7 to respond to urgent cases when needed. Shift: Full Time M-F (flexible and will work one weekend day) must be able to be on call 24/7. Would primarily work remotely but must be able to come on-site initially for training as well as when needed.


  • Receive all supervisor notifications of COVID-19 cases (exposures, suspected exposures, symptoms, etc.)

  • Receive calls forwarded by Security Operations Center

  • Evaluate notifications to determine status of cases, requiring immediate gathering of COVID-19 Task Force

  • Coordinate with HR, Emergency Management, Facilities, EHS, supervisors to fully address immediate concerns

  • Manage employee communication, arrange cleaning, identify exposure areas/groups, etc.

  • Track all pertinent data related to each case

  • Track high temperature employees sent home from screening stations

  • Ensure that affected supervisors know to submit a questionnaire for each

  • Process exception requests for visitor traffic to company sites and travel requests

  • Create talking points for team communications as needed

Education Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree

    • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

    • Ability to follow established procedures while looking for opportunity for improvement

    • Must have strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail

    • Must be able to evaluate situations and demonstrate sound decision-making

    • Must be a self-starter and perform with minimal guidance, including after-hours when needed

    • Must have exceptional interpersonal and professional communication skills

    • Must be comfortable working closely with and advising senior business leaders

    • Must have the ambition to seek constant improvement
