JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Housekeeper - Grade 10 (Dickinson Law - Carlisle, PA)

PENN STATE DICKINSON LAW, located in Carlisle, PA, invites applications for a Housekeeper. Dickinson Law. The following description covers the typical duties to be performed and/or assigned:

  • Clean all rooms and areas of the Law School, student housing, clinic facilities, etc.

  • Perform duties such as dust, dust mop floors, wet mop floors, spot clean, vacuum rugs and runners.

  • Wash glass, mirrors, light fixtures, railings, woodwork, etc.

  • Clean restrooms and stock dispensers.

  • Wash windows, sills, as well as polish furniture, brass, etc., and collect waste from work areas.

  • Launder and maintain cleaning rags, specialty items such as table linens and skiting, and guest house bed/bath linens.

  • Assist in set-up and clean-up of tables and chairs at various locations for banquets and other events.

  • Maintain equipment and materials used to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.

  • Report needed repairs, unusual conditions to supervisor.

Job Requirement: Requires the use of simple writing, adding, subtracting, whole numbers and the carrying out of instructions; and the use of fixed gauges and direct reading instruments and devices in which interpretation is not required. Up to and including 3 months of effective experience.

Work Schedule: M-F 6:00 AM 2:30 PM

Days Off: Saturday, Sunday

NOTE: THIS POSITION REQUIRES THAT YOU OPERATE A MOTOR VEHICLE AS A PART OF YOUR JOB DUTIES. A VALID DRIVER`S LICENSE AND SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE RECORDS CHECK WILL BE REQUIRED IN ADDITION TO STANDARD BACKGROUND CHECKS.
