General Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to provide analytical support and performs audits and special projects that support a wide range of COVID-19 resources and recovery across our facility due to the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the residents that we provide healthcare-related services.

Responsibilities:

Provides analytical support and performs audits and special projects that support a wide range of COVID-19 resources and recovery across our facilitydue to the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the residents that we provide healthcare-related services.
Assists in preparing and completing a variety of regular and ad-hoc reports and required filings.
Verifies the accuracy of reports through review and analysis.
Assists with and participates in internal and external audits.
Assists with the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial analysis schedules of actual vs. budget variances as well as with the preparation of detailed annual financial budget and monthly financial forecasts related to COVID-19 finances and program impacts.
Records data and statistical information. Assists with reconciliations.
Prepares, designs, and develops analysis and detailed reporting on financial measures, trends, and strategic business initiatives.
Provides financial analysis support to various areas of the company, including analyzing and forecasting department-specific finances and program costs.
Communicates effectively with both internal and external customers, following up on questions and discrepancies.
Grant funded program. This position is funded through 03/31/2023; continuation of employment is dependent upon availability of and/or renewed funding.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

4 years of experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis required; healthcare environment experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the skills, knowledge, and ability to perform the essential job duties, and which meets any required state or federal certification requirements.
