Field Service Representative

As a Field Service Representative for Rolls-Royce, you’ll support the F-405 engine in the T-45 aircraft and work to provide technical guidance to the customer by establishing and maintaining a close liaison with relevant sections of the customer’s organization, Rolls-Royce Customer Support, Engineering and Program Management.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Reviewing engineering changes with regard to their effect on the product in the field
  • Developing and conducting supplemental training to maintenance activities through on-the-job training and classroom instruction, as appropriate
  • Reporting to the F-405 CLS Site Manager and leading Program and Deployed Services responsibilities
  • Utilizing and supporting Rolls-Royce and Customer databases and diagnostic software programs to respond to technical and operational queries
  • Ensuring Rolls-Royce business objectives and contract deliverables are met, and Customer operational needs are supported
  • Pursuing site visits, engine operation, maintenance, safety briefs, field training, accident investigations, in-flight test evaluations and direct requests on short notice

Basic requirements:

  • An Associates degree and 4+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance and/or an aviation in-field customer support role OR;
  • A Bachelor`s degree and 2+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance and/or an aviation in-field customer support role OR;
  • In lieu of a degree 6+ years of experience jet engine maintenance and/or an aviation in-field customer support role
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship

Preferred requirements:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
  • Prior F-405/ T-45 maintenance experience
  • Experience with Rolls-Royce Engine Tracking Systems Database and NALCOMIS
