This position is located in the COVID-19 Coordination Office's Procurement and Financial Services Division within the Public Health Management Division
Provide oversight and direction to the Procurement and Financial Services Division within the COVID-19 Coordination Office in the Public Health Deputy Area, and to serve as a program manager for COVID-19 procurement services, financial reporting and invoicing, and limited grant coordination services.
Oversees the Procurement and Financial Services Division, COVID-19 Coordination Office, and serves as a liaison between the Office, other areas of the Agency, and partners with regard to COVID-19 procurement matters, financial reporting and invoicing, and limited grant coordination services.
In close coordination with internal and external partners and the Office Director, assists in oversight of COVID-19 Coordination Office budgets, financial operations and projections, procurement of goods and services, and validation of grant deliverables.
Coordinates with Office personnel to ensure rapid turnaround of relevant invoices, requests, solicitations, and contracts as necessary to support the Office, Deputy Area, and Agency.
In coordination with the Bureau of Public Health Preparedness, serves in an Incident Management capacity when necessary for pandemic response.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Agency Additional Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of program management experience focusing on the support of diverse governmental agencies, bureaus, programs, or similar.

Experience with, and knowledge of, management and financial principles. Knowledge of State Government organizational structure, public funding and operations, and the processes applicable to the management of large scale government enterprise. Ability to interpret and apply rules and regulations. Ability to manage work and provide guidance to employees. Ability to make presentations and prepare reports for dissemination to Agency leadership.
If this position requires the applicant to possess a valid driver'slicense to operate a state vehicle or personal vehicle, any applicant being considered in the final stages of selection for the position will be required to provide a certified copy of a 10-year driving record.
