Position Title: COVID Support Representative

Location: Huntsville, AL

Estimated start date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 3 months

Pay Rate: $17/hour

Scheduled hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • COVID case investigations & follow-up - 60%
  • Develop strong knowledge of company COVID protocols / policies; follow all standard operating procedures
  • Assist with COVID case investigations through calling employees, asking routine questions, and advising on protocol
  • Partner with site EHS and HR teams as needed to conclude investigations
  • Write COVID case reports leveraging standard templates
  • Manage inbound / outbound employee calls - 40%
  • Take employee calls on COVID-related topics; including but not limited to COVID symptoms, COVID test results, exposure concerns, protocol questions, return to work process
  • Assist HR team in return to work process by calling employees who are out of work due to COVID or quarantine, checking in on health status and RTW date, and notifying appropriate HR contact
  • Maintain detailed tracking log of information, other record-keeping as requested
  • Provide excellent service and timely follow-up to employees
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:

Skills

  • Strong computer/data entry skills; detail oriented
  • Experience navigating through time-keeping software (i.e., KRONOS)
  • Well-versed in MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, listening and questioning skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Able to work non-traditional hours as needed (evenings and weekends)
  • Customer focused, results oriented; strong work ethic and professionalism
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years call center / customer service experience preferred
