Due to the surge in COVID cases in the U.S., Johnson County, KS anticipates ramping up before the end of September in bringing on numerous Contact Tracers, Case Investigators, Clinical Liaisons and/or Data Entry/Call Center consultants, likely through at least the end of the year. Most of these roles will be onsite. The positions will generally be 8-5:00 M-F, and hourly rates will range from $14-24/hr.
Here is a sampling of potential roles . . .
Contact Tracers: you'll contact Johnson County residents via phone who have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Communicate with assigned patients, obtain symptom information and perform contact tracing for these individuals in an effort to help contain the epidemic. You will be provided with a list of patients/residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 in Johnson County. You will then call, investigate, collect and document information on symptoms, contact tracing, etc. and record the information in our client's disease surveillance and outbreak management software application.
Clinical Liaisons: Ability to greet and help patients upon entry to clinic- Check-in (Assist w/ EMR entry, Gather Demographic information for Medical Staff/ Scientist), stand and move for most of the day for different entry points and ability to assist with technical support at all stations, Strong verbal communication, critical thinking & problem solving skills, customer service is a must as well since they will be interacting with patients, nurses, doctors, etc. Also, will support distribution of documents either electronically or in paper for check-out.
Data Entry/Call Center: Somewhat data entry (cut/paste) and answering basic Tier 1 COVID questions from local Johnson County callers.
