Description

The University of South Carolina is looking for a detail oriented and organized individual to lead our COVID-19 hotline staff. The perfect candidate will have amazing attention to detail, be able to work well independently as well as in a group, and use innovative thought processes.

This candidate will provide supervision to phone bank staff, especially during evening and weekend hours

Phone Bank Duties:

• Answer calls from students, faculty, staff, parents, & public about UofSC's COVID-19 response. Provide basic information & explain what processes will be activated as a result of the call.

• Communicate with daytime phone bank supervisor regarding staffing needs and follow-up from evening or weekend calls

• Review phone bank log for elevated calls to administrative leaders for each needed area.

• Ensure that calls are properly routed to response sectors like: medical response, case management, and contact tracing.

• Assist with other data duties as necessary, such as basic analysis for trends and other daily tasks.

Please note that this is a temporary/hourly position that will work up to 40 hours per week through mid-December with an option for reappointment in January should there be a need based on the pandemic situation. As such, no paid time off or holiday pay will be provided.
