Looking for Contact Tracers with Medical/Healthcare background/expertise!
- Either healthcare or clinical/medical background with patient care
- Strong computer skills
How it works:
- Contact Investigator will make initial contact with COVID case; gather detailed information about their whereabouts and contacts up until positive test. Once information is gathered, will document and pass to CONTACT TRACER
-Conduct interviews with individuals who are contacts and at high risk of contracting a communicable disease in the community
-Educate contacts on CD prevention issues such as disease spread, prevention and mitigation, including quarantine guidelines
-Connect contacts interviewed to testing for COVID-19
-Staff/Review assigned cases daily including contact tracing and notification outcomes
-Complete interviews for 75% of contacts assigned within 24 hours
-Basic triage telephone calls based on urgency and importance; need to know when to escalate based on symptoms
-Communicate daily directly with program team and nurses for case distribution and follow up including forwarding cases needing reassignment to appropriate persons in CD administration.
-Tracer will be calling all contacts from COVID positive case. Check-ins must be daily. Do they have symptoms? Do they need an appointment to see a provider? Can escalate a task back to a nurse. OR if not symptomatic - they will be called daily. Check ins, how feeling, etc.
