Job Description
As a CSR you will assist the sales reps we have working in the field that may run into issues and they will require your assistance in caring for the customers needs. Some examples of these issues are placing an order, correcting and order, adding promotional products;etc. There is no selling on our end; no up-sales. 100% support for the field.
TRAINING/PRODUCTION:
Our call center primarily works out of the office building. Due to COVID-19, we have made changes to our work environment. Initial training will be conducted in the office building. Once training has completed, new hires will continue to work in the office building at least through the 90-day probationary period. At this time, there is a possibility employees could be moved to work at home after 90 days. This is contingent upon COVID-19, requirements of contract/client or other reasons. All new hires must be prepared to work in an office building with the possibility of working from home later.
Health and safety are #1
Health and safety are our top priorities. Following guidance from global health experts, we've developed a series of on-site office protocols and procedures.
To foster a safe work environment, we've implemented the following in our staffed facilities:
Cleaned and thoroughly disinfected all workstations and common areas – including break and lunch areas, restrooms and more
Instituted daily and weekly cleaning protocols that adhere to regional and national recommendations
Established hand sanitizer stations in areas where soap and water are not nearby
Designed measures to control the flow of people entering and exiting offices, and in the availability of workstations
Developed clear signage to maintain safe social distancing practices by using markers on the floor, bathrooms, and other high-traffic areas like lobbies and elevators
Created additional signage to remind individuals of public-space etiquette and on-site protocols like wearing face coverings when entering and moving around the offices
Daily Self-Screening
Each day, individuals who enter a Verizon facility must perform self-screen to confirm that all of the following are TRUE before entering a facility;
I have not experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., fever, cough or unexplained shortness of breath) in the last 72 hours.
I have checked my temperature today and it is less than 100.4 degrees F (38 degrees C).
In the last 14 days, I have not: (a) been advised to quarantine by a medical professional or public health official; (b) returned from any international travel or any inter-state travel that requires me to quarantine upon return; or (c) had close contact (e.g., within 6 feet (1.8 meters) for more than 10 minutes) with anyone known to have COVID-19.
If I previously had COVID-19, I have no remaining symptoms, and it has been at least 21 days since my onset of symptoms or (if applicable) since my last positive test, whichever is later.
Social distancing
Training and production workstations will be clearly marked as available or unavailable so individuals can maintain at least six-feet (1.8 meters) distance. High-traffic areas, such as elevators, entrances, and lobby areas, will also be marked.
Face coverings
Face coverings are required when entering and moving around the building or using a common area. However, as long as individuals maintain at least six-feet (1.8 meters) distance, they do not need to wear a face covering while seated at a desk.
If you are working at a workspace (e.g., at a desk) and social distancing is being strictly observed, you may remove your face covering while working, but you must use the face covering when moving about the facility.
Common areas and facilities
Common areas will be clearly marked and furniture rearranged to allow for safe social distancing practices. Wellness rooms will be available.
Keep hands clean
Regular hand washing is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of germs. In high-traffic areas where individuals will not have access to soap and water, hand sanitizer stations have been added. The CDC recommends washing hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds.
